Missy's Portraits specializes in painting portraits of babies, children, families pets and houses. Capture your most special moments by turning them into beautiful hand painted portraits. Portraits also make unique and wonderful gifts for friends and family.
So here is how the portrait ordering process works!
1. Select the photo or photos that you would like me to use to create your custom portrait.
2. Send me your photo(s) via Etsy or email and a message sharing any ideas you may have (cropping, background, color, etc...)
3. Choose any item from my shop to place the order. You'll just need to select the size you would like from the scroll bar before adding to basket.
4. I will contact you when I begin work on your portrait!
5. Once your portrait is finished I will send you a photo of your portrait for your approval (changes can be made).
6. Your work of art gets shipped to your home!

If there are more than 4 figures in the portrait, a $25 fee is added to each additional figure. :

Oh man, I don't even know where to start with how amazing the portrait I had done was. If you have any doubts about getting something done just don't - order away and let Melissa work her magic. I'll definitely be putting in another order for a pet portrait at a later date, that's how much I loved everything about it! :) One of my two younger brothers passed away last year and we unfortunately didn't have a picture of us three kids and my mum together. I gave a whole bunch of pictures to Melissa and she was able to put all of us together perfectly. I gave it to my mum today for Christmas and her reaction was just perfect - stunned, amazed, and just absolutely loved it. Melissa - I honestly can't thank you enough for what you were able to do for my mum, and honestly for my brother and I. Just thank you, thank you, thank you.

This was a gift for my mother-in-law. Her mom recently passed away & never had a chance to meet her great granddaughter. We wanted my MIL to have a picture of her mom with both of our kids. The portrait was everything we hoped for & more. It brought our entire family to tears with how perfect it was. Could not recommend more!
