Wouldn't you love to have a custom pet portrait of your special pets? My main goal is to be able to capture the true character and personality of your pet in your custom portrait. They also make excellent and affordable gifts, ideal for Anniversarys, Birthdays, Christmas and other special occasions.
Here is how the process works!
1. Select the photo or photos that you would like me to use to create your custom portrait.
2. Send me your photo(s) via Etsy or email and a message sharing any ideas you may have (cropping, background, color, etc...)
3. Decide on the size you would like.
4. Choose any item from my shop to place the order. You'll just need to select the size you would like from the scroll bar before adding to basket.
5. I will contact you when I begin work on your portrait!
6. Once your portrait is finished I will send you a photo of your portrait for your approval (changes can be made).
7. Your work of art gets shipped to your home!

If there are more than 4 figures in the portrait, a $25 fee is added to each additional figure.

This is the second painting we’ve ordered from Melissa. Both paintings of our pups are absolute treasures. Her talent is incredible! The paintings are so detailed and beautiful! Exactly like the pictures we shared with her. The first time she sent me a picture of the first painting I thought it was a picture of the picture. So very life-like. I cannot recommend her work highly enough. Simply incredible. ❤️

My husband just lost a childhood dog, Roxy, recently and I wanted to gift something special. When we opened the painting we a tearing moment remembering how good of dog Roxy was. The patina so beautiful and made I feel like we are living that moment again. We will forger have this painting with us. 10/10 I recommend Melissa, not only she is amazing artist, she has communicated with me on timeline and have been very kind. Can’t wait to get more painting from her!!

Super pleased with my portraits from Missy. She is so pleasant to work with and incredibly talented. Missy did 2 portraits for me. Both pet portraits are so lifelike I cried when I opened them. I sent her the photos and asked for a rural background with zinnias. I couldn’t have imagined a better outcome. Yes, handcrafted, custom artwork takes time. Oil painting takes time because it has to be layered and each layer has to dry to create the lifelike depth. I am in fact shocked she is able to create these portraits in 3-4 months. The price she charges allows everyone to have access to her heirloom quality work, which is generous of her. I will be commissioning more work from this kind and talented artist.

Painting was a gift for my parents for Christmas, and they loved it! It turned out so pretty and the seller was very responsive and easy to work with.
